Actually- Last one down doesn't get to sit in the new chair. And that really sucks for them because the new chair is awesome.

One basement's journey...
...from being underutilized primarily as a place for cats to poop and other assorted items of cr@p to be stored
TO
a place for Mario and Jill to go and pretend they aren't really grown-ups with a kid. One day, they will able to sit at a wet bar, draw a beer from the tap and pretend that they don't really go to bed at 9:00 on Friday nights and they are still COOL and fun to hang out with. They can adjust to being boring adults much easier knowing that one day soon that their basement will be home to a REALLY big tv.

Our Budget:
We have managed to stay pretty much on target with our budget of $7500 to complete this project. (That does not include furniture, TV and audio equipment, appliances or the bathroom which we have not even started yet!)
We have thus far been successful in coming under the estimates that we have gotten from the "Home Remodeling Cost Estimator".
We have been using these estimates as a guide throughout the project.
